Eight Years of Community, Action, and Civic Engagement

By Carol Teitelman, PfADC President and Pflugerville Area Super Precinct Chair.

PfADC turned 8 on May 18th!  That's the day in 2018 that we were officially listed as a political organization in Texas.

Since that date, the club has been a gathering place for Democrats offering friendship, information and election news.  We've worked together to knock on thousands of doors, send texts to voters, hold events to introduce candidates to our neighbors, and build a strong political community with a heart. We've donated to organizations that do the work that is supported by our values. We've been a path for involved citizens to become more engaged in the community through service on civic boards and as elected officials. We've been to the Capitol to support elected officials, testify and to advocate for public education, public health, and the health of our democracy. And, we've participated in protests at home and downtown to let people know that we stand strong for the rights of each and every citizen.

Please join me in celebrating eight years of civic engagement by pledging to continue the work of the club in this important year.
